The process of relocating the Veterans Memorial monuments to city property on Memphis Avenue by the airplane will begin Friday, May 5. This move is necessary to accommodate the construction of the new Brooklyn Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library.
In addition to this improved plaza, there will be new landscaping, trees, lighting and a walking path. We also purchased the house at 4302 South Parkside for expansion and to provide a buffer to the adjacent residential area.
Construction will be completed this summer and will provide an enhanced environment to reflect on our veterans' sacrifices.
