As part of the fifth round of Gov. Mike DeWine’s Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program, Brooklyn police have been awarded $181,471 to combat violence, including gun crime and human trafficking.
“The ability to secure additional funding to help combat violent crime in our community is always helpful,” Mayor Katie Gallagher said. “I’m appreciative to our staff who took the time to secure this funding.”
