Biography
Meg was appointed and sworn into City Council on January 8, 2018. Meg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Bowling Green State University, and a Masters degree in Urban Planning, Design, and Development from Cleveland State University. She lives on Woodhaven with her husband, Michael, and their dog Thor.
Employment
Meg's full-time job is at the Cleveland Teachers Union, where she is an Executive Assistant to the President. In this position, Meg has helped develop and implement a master communication plan and organize community-based meetings. She looks forward to bringing this experience to the Brooklyn community.
Community Service
Meg also looks forward to utilizing her Urban Planning background to benefit Brooklyn. She has continued her studies in this subject through attending conferences, including Ohio American Planning Association, Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio (COHHIO), and the Cleveland Planning and Zoning conference over the years.
