      The City of Brooklyn has been awarded Tree City USA since 1986. We take pride in this achievement. The tree lawn trees are maintained by our Service Department. If you have questions regarding your tree lawn tree, contact the Service Department at 216.635.4232.

    The City of Brooklyn offers a program through the Cuyahoga County Sanitary Engineer’s Office to snake sanitary lines free of charge to our residents. If you detect odors from any of the drains, or water/ sewage back up in the basement in the area of the wash tubs please contact 216.635.4203 during normal business hours. If you need assistance after business hours or weekends please contact Police dispatch non emergency number: 216.749.1234. The program is for sanitary lines only.

The Brooklyn Service Department provides a number of services to the residents in the City of Brooklyn as well as maintains our roads, parks, and public areas throughout the community. The dedicated employees are committed to making Brooklyn a great place to live and work. The department provides trash collection including

    The City of Brooklyn will begin its 2015 Road Program, weather depending on all aspects, as follows:

    Work on Manoa (both sides of Tiedeman) will begin May 7th with completion approximately June 10th.

    Work on Rockland, Newberry, Forestedge (north of Biddulph) and Southwood (south of 480) will begin May 7th with completion approximately July 3rd.

    Work will begin approximately May 11th on Shady Lane, then moving to Deborah Lynn, Micka, Fairway, Century Circle and ending on Brookhill Circle, with completion of all by September 18th (or sooner - weather dependent)
