Public & Community Facilities
Overall, public amenities play a critical role by contributing to the fiscal health of a community's government, the viability of its businesses, and the quality of life for its residents. Public facilities such as city hall, police and fire stations, service buildings, and parks are critical elements in a community and are needed to sustain neighborhoods, businesses, and governmental functions. Other quasi-public community facilities such as schools, hospitals, libraries, and places of worship are also important to residents and their quality of life.
