Welcome to the City of Brooklyn! A strong and vibrant community located centrally in the heart of Cuyahoga County. Brooklyn is the perfect place to live, work and play. Our city has friendly and affordable neighborhoods, a quality school system and excellent city services where all you need is within reach! Generations of families, businesses and workers have been proud to call Brooklyn home and we think you will too.

The city’s parks feature pavilions, walking trails and play areas for the kids. Regardless of the season, there is always a fitness class or program that families and individuals can participate in at the Recreation Center. The Senior- Community Center is an excellent gathering place for a luncheon, pottery class or friendly bocci ball game. Van transportation, the Meals on Wheels program and snow removal for seniors are all available.

Keeping safety a top priority, our well- trained Police and Fire Departments offer home safety checks and evaluations and have excellent response times. Our multi-purpose Service Department is one of the best when city streets are covered in snow.

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is an excellent organization to join. They provide a positive impact on our business community and city. Organized community events, outings and networking opportunities are always on the agenda.

Brooklyn has several residents, businesses, committees, organizations and employees working hard every day to make Brooklyn the best it can be! Come see for yourself all that Brooklyn has to offer!
